Kronoberg Castle Ruin dates back to the 15th century – an exciting place for both children and adults.
The castle ruin outside Växjö is beautifully situated at Lake Helgasjön. Here you can stroll around or have a picnic. It is also an exciting place for children in July. They can learn new things every day with themes from historic periods, such as clever 16th-century ideas, pottery and mask making. There’s also geocaching. There are English- and German-speaking leaders.
This summer, there will also be fun and games at the ruin with story evenings and music, and good food at Ryttmästargården next door. Adjacent to the ruins and the Ryttmästaregården lay the home port of the museum´s steamboat S/S Thor. There is also a motor home camping.
