Two of Sweden’s oldest wood burning steamboats operate on Småland lakes.
S/S Boxholm II stops at the ports on Lake Sommen in the northeast. S/S Thor crosses Lake Helgasjön, close to Växjö, on lock tours and dinner tours to Asa Mansion. The lock in Åby is the southernmost in Sweden. Beside the beautiful located lock there is a camping site with cottages, room rental and rental of canoes, kayaks and rowing boats.
