Hier liegt die Pyramide in Lommaryd, ein Denkmal zu Ehren von Baron Malte Liewen Stierngranat. Die Pyramide besteht aus Beton in verkleinerter Form, verkleidet mit Granitplatten, und wurde von der Cheops-Pyramide in \u00c4gypten inspiriert.<\/p>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n

\n Baron Stierngranat <\/h3>\n

Baron Malte Liewen Stierngranat wurde 1871 auf dem Landsitz Nobyn\u00e4s in der Kirchengemeinde Lommaryd geboren und war sp\u00e4ter stark in der Region engagiert. Nach mehreren Jahren in Amerika kehrte er 1911 nach Schweden zur\u00fcck, kaufte einen Teil des Gutes und nannte es \u201eStj\u00e4rneborg\u201c. Sp\u00e4ter entstanden dort verschiedene Geb\u00e4ude wie ein Schloss und ein privater Bahnhof, an dem auch Z\u00fcge hielten. Er hatte ein gro\u00dfes Interesse an Kunst und das Bestreben, die Bildung zu f\u00f6rdern. Unter anderem war er Initiator des Heimatvereins von Lommaryd und eines Freilichtmuseums. Heute wird sein Erbe vom Verein Stierngranats museer bewahrt.<\/p>\n

\n Die Pyramide in Sm\u00e5land <\/h3>\n

Nach einem Besuch in \u00c4gypten im Jahr 1908 entstand bei dem Baron die Idee, eine kleine Kopie der Cheops-Pyramide zu errichten. Dieses eigene Mausoleum wurde 1923 gebaut. Die Grabkammer hat die Form einer gotischen Kapelle und ist reich mit Gew\u00f6lbemalereien geschm\u00fcckt, die Szenen aus Stierngranats Leben zeigen. In den 1920er-Jahren wurde ein Sarkophag bestellt und aus Sicherheitsgr\u00fcnden bei l\u00e4ngeren Auslandsaufenthalten mitgef\u00fchrt. Im Jahr 1960 wurde Stierngranat schlie\u00dflich in seinem Sarkophag beigesetzt.<\/p>\n
