This gem lies deep inside the dense forests of Småland, by the glittering waters of Lake Asasjön. Right next door is where they filmed episodes featuring outdoor cooking for The Edible Country. People have enjoyed nature and good food here for centuries, and they still do today. Ingredients are gathered from the forest, the lake, and the farms, and there’s plenty of game meat on the menu.

Korrö is originally an old handicrafts village, where the forces of Ronneby River powered the sawmill. Today, the manor and wings have been converted into hotels and hostels. A small turn-of-the-century hotel with personal service. Hosts, Fam Rodin, place great emphasis on food and on creating superb local dishes. The beautiful villa was originally built as the residence for the manager of Gransholms Papermill and his family. What today is used for hotel rooms was the papermills mainoffice and the diningrooms, library and loungeareas was the private house for the manager and his family. The over one hundred year old villa has a large park with beautiful pond and tennis court.
