Located in one of Gränna’s oldest buildings from the early 1700s, Cathanna Polkagrisar offers a genuine taste experience where both tradition and innovation come together. Here, you can experience peppermint rock candy production up close in a cosy and personal atmosphere. Since 1989, the Lund-Persson family, led by Jane, has run Cathanna Polkagrisar. Cathanna is known for its impressive range of candy canes with over 50 different flavours, from classic peppermint to liquorice, raspberry, and other unique varieties. All candy canes are handmade on-site, and the open gallery in the shop allows visitors to follow the entire baking process and talk directly with the bakers.
