Rosenlund Manor and Rose Garden

With an unbeatable view of Lake Vättern, Rosenlund Manor and rose garden stand proudly. The manor is one of the oldest buildings in Jönköping and was built in 1788 by judge Gustav Mauritz Posse. The manor is used as an internal conference facility within the Jönköping municipality, a venue for civil weddings, and a location for cultural events and art exhibitions. The rose garden is the city’s blooming jewel, featuring 600 different species of roses. The park also boasts beautiful ornamental trees, peonies, perennials, and many other beautiful sights and scents. Here, you can relax in the garden swing, at one of the picnic tables, or on a blanket anywhere in the park. Posses Park is also located in the area. The park offers an outstanding view of Lake Vättern and has recently been renovated to resemble the original 18th-century park. Last year, the rose garden was awarded the international prize “Award of garden excellence”.
