Your local coffee roastery in the Småland Kingdom of Crystal. In the beautiful forests of the Kingdom of Crystal, you’ll find TADAH Coffee Roastery, where there’s a true passion for offering specialty coffee in the countryside. Here you’ll find the roastery shop, the coffee bar, and a small retro café.

At TADAH Coffee Roastery, you can buy freshly roasted coffee to take home or enjoy a cup of freshly brewed coffee with homemade pastries. While sipping your coffee, you can peek into the roastery and get a glimpse of what’s happening in production. Or sit outside on our patio. There’s even a coffee museum – perhaps the smallest in Sweden?!

Traditions like Lucia, Christma

December❄️🎄
Traditions like Lucia, Christmas markets, and New Year’s Eve are celebrated during this first winter month. And of course, we don’t forget saffron buns – a must-have treat to enjoy with coffee in December.

In December, the weather in Småland and on Öland is much colder. Daytime temperatures are usually between –5 and 3 °C, and the nights can be very cold. Snow is common, and there are often quiet, clear winter days. The landscape has bare trees, white fields, and a calm winter feeling.

Ostkakans Day ❤
Good heavens, there’s going to be a lot of ostkaka eaten in Småland today! Here are three tips on places where you can enjoy this festive fika treat:
🧀 @sussiescafe
🧀 @frodingemejeri (also available in grocery stores)
🧀 @asensby
Save this post for when you’re in Småland and feel like enjoying something local.

ℹ️ Ostkaka (literally “cheese cake”) is a traditional Swedish dessert and dish, first recorded in 1538 but likely originating in the Middle Ages. It’s made from curdled milk baked in the oven, using milk, wheat flour, and rennet as the main ingredients. Unlike American-style cheesecake, ostkaka has a mild, custard-like texture with a slightly grainy consistency from the curds. It is typically served warm or at room temperature, accompanied by jam and whipped cream. The region of Småland in southern Sweden is particularly famous for this delicacy, and November 14 is celebrated as Ostkakans dag (“Ostkaka Day”).
