Here, an Ice Age accumulation of giant boulders has formed with deep caves, halls and crawl spaces at different levels.<br \/>\nThe caves are believed to have been formed during the Ice Age and on 20 September 1948 the site was declared a natural monument.<\/p>\n<p>History tells us that these passages and caves were once hiding places and haunts for forest thieves and thieves. Rebel leader Nils Dacke who was born nearby is said to have lived in the caves and he is not the only one.
