R\u00f6ttle By is a peaceful and idyllic village by R\u00f6ttle River, which has played such a great role in the area of Gr\u00e4nna for so many centuries. There are two mill houses, Rasmus Mill and Jerusalem Mill, remaining from the period when the village was most prosperous in the 1600s. Here is flour grinding presented during the summer at Rasmus Mill. They sell flour made from KRAV-certified grain here, and they inform you about the village’s history while milling. For nature enthusiasts and botanists, the R\u00f6ttle River valley with V\u00e4stan\u00e5 south of the village is a rarity. There is, among other things, a very fine oak grove that is believed to have arisen by itself naturally.
