If you&#8217;re lucky enough to spot some, they&#8217;re best enjoyed fried with a little salt and butter.<\/p>\n<p>The porcini mushroom is called the &#8220;Karl Johan mushroom&#8221; in Sweden:<br \/>\nNamed after King Charles XIV John, the mushroom became popular in Sweden in 1818.
