It is known for its exclusive fly fishing and spinning fishing for rainbow trout. In total, there are about 20 species of fish in the 2 km long stretch of the Helge River. The pond offers a varied fishing experience with species such as trout, rainbow trout, pike and whitefish. For visitors there is a parking lot with an information board, public toilet and picnic area. A footbridge leads to an island in the pond, making the area accessible to people with reduced mobility.
