In the middle of Sm\u00e5land’s deep forests you will find Europe’s largest zipline adventure and an excellent opportunity to challenge any fear of heights. Hanging in the air, in a harness attached to a wire, you fly over trees and lakes at an impressive speed.<\/p>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n

\n Europe’s largest zipline <\/h3>\n

There are several zip lines in Sm\u00e5land, but Little Rock Lake Zipline is something else. The line is truly in the wilderness, deep in the Sm\u00e5land forest, 50 km north of V\u00e4xj\u00f6. No houses in sight, just forests and lakes. This is Europe’s largest zip line of its kind and it offers a breathtaking experience.<\/p>\n

Wearing a safety harness, you zip along a sturdy rope suspended between towers, platforms and trees, at a maximum speed of 75 km\/h \u2013 sometimes as high as 52 meters above the ground. The facility’s latest innovation is parallel ropes, which make it possible for two people to ride at the same time, competing to be the first to reach the next tower.<\/p>\n

On the adventure you are always accompanied by two trained guides: one who goes ahead and meets you at the end of each section, and one who helps at the starts. Along the way they tell you about the area’s rich nature and wildlife, which includes moose, deer, foxes and wild boars.<\/p>\n

Zipping is suitable for everyone from 5 to 99 years old. Children can tandem zip with an adult, and from about 11 years of age you can zip on your own. The minimum weight for zipping on your own is 35 kg, the maximum weight is 125 kg.<\/p>\n

Anyone who finds zipping too much of a challenge can still climb to the top of the tallest tower and enjoy the mesmerizing views of deep forests and lakes. It is even possible to spend the night at the top of the tower and wake up to a new perspective.<\/p>\n

The on-site restaurant, Fine Forest, serves food from local suppliers, along with stunning views of the lake and forest. The view can also be enjoyed from the new hot tub and barbecue hut, a perfect way to end the adventure.<\/p>\n
