Nowhere in the world are there so many glassworks and studios in one place. Glass has been blown here since 1742 and the working method is largely the same now as then. In the area between V\u00e4xj\u00f6 and Kalmar there are a total of 13 glassworks and glassworks. This is where Bertil Vallien works and casts his boats, here is the legacy of Ulrica Hydman Vallien and many other artists. In Kosta, an entire destination has also grown with hotels, restaurants, cabins, Elk Park, safari park, outlet and wilderness life. You can find the similarities and love for glass at every cabin \u2013 because it is a love story. Master, assistant, designer and artist \u2013 they all have a close relationship with the glowing mass and its possibilities.<\/p>\n

A contrast to Kosta is, for example, Persson & Persson<\/a> in \u00d6sj\u00f6bol outside \u00c5seda, where they recycle. Used bottles are turned into beautiful glasses and other everyday items. The shop and caf\u00e9 are in the old general store next door. If you turn south, you will come to Bsweden<\/a> in Herr\u00e5kra with an outlet and then to Bergdalahyttan<\/a>. They have an exciting collaboration on lighting and many of Bsweden’s glass details are manufactured here. For example, the lampshade for the popular Manhattan. Otherwise, Bergdalahyttan is best known for its everyday items with a blue stripe.<\/p>\n

So to the trendsetter in Skruv \u2013 products from Skrufs Glasbruk will soon be on every influencer’s Instagram account. The Pallo vases, the column and the Tokyo candlestick are lining up in their outlet. However, you can only buy the Dagg vase at Svenskt Tenn \u2013 but it is made in the forests of Sm\u00e5land.<\/p>\n
