Lake Åsnen

The Åsnen area has a unique lake archipelago with more than a thousand islands, 700 km of coastline, and a diverse nature that is easy to explore.

Here, delicate deciduous forests meet concerts of birdsong and serene marshes reminiscent of Lapland. The national park, which is Sweden’s 30th and newest, offers a mixture of shimmering deciduous forests, Småland coniferous forests, and marshes reminiscent of Norrland!
