Västanåleden

The Västanåleden is a 7.4 km round moderately demanding walkway that runs along the Lake Vättern shore cliffs and through a combination of pine woodland and green deciduous woodland. The Västanåleden is part of the Nature Reserve of Västanå and is incorporated in the Biosphere Area of the Eastern Vätter Cliffs. The walking trail is one which can easily be combined with the John Bauerleden and Franciskusleden. Immediately along side the path lies Röttlestigen, another little round way trail of 1.3 km passing the village of Röttle and its points of interest. Moderately hard trail that consists partly of steepness and rough patches. It consists partly of incline and rocks to navigate through.
