City near hiking along Dunkehallaån
The Dunkehalla Trail is a 2.7 km hike in central Jönköping. The trail runs along Dunkehallaån and offers great views as well as the remains of Jönköping’s industrial history. In the Dunkehalla ravine, you will trek from the valley close to Kortebovägen up to Dalvik on the western heights of Jönköping. The trail is partially steep in some sections and has some stairs. Along the way, Dunkehallaån flows towards Lake Vättern, and in some areas, there are thundering waterfalls with a total drop of 90 meters.
