Enjoy a meal in the Archipelago
Enjoy a meal in the Västervik Archipelago
Explore the unspoiled islands of Hasselö, Idö and Rågö and when hunger sets in there are many island cafés and restaurant to choose from. You can enjoy the magical archipelago outside Västervik for a day or book accommodation and stay longer.
Hasselö and its neighbouring island of Sladö, which is a nature reserve, are two of the archipelago’s most vibrant islands, with boat service and a hostel open all year round. The archipelago boats docks at Hasselö Sand and here you will find a village shop, a marina, a restaurant and a place to hire bikes and sea-kayaks.
The Restaurant Sjökanten is pleasantly situated among boathouses and fishing huts. At midday you can enjoy their archipelago buffet with for example smoked salmon, chicken, fish soup and lots of delicious trimmings. Three course evening meals are served several times a week during the summer.
