Dreaming of staying in a classic red cottage, surrounded by nature with a beautiful view? You’ve come to the right place. At Getnö – Lake Åsnen Resort there are several different cabins to choose from. Most of the cabins are fully modern, and some have their own sauna. Each cottage also has its own barbecue and campfire site.
Nature camping
During the warmer seasons, the nature campsite is open. The camping area is located right on the shore of Lake Åsnen, and each pitch has its own campfire/grill spot.
Activities
You can try sport fishing in Lake Åsnen with many fish species, take part in guided fishing tours, or rent equipment to fish from a boat. There are cycling routes on several trails, opportunities to paddle a canoe or kayak — including longer tours and day trips into the national park. For children there is a nature school with activities such as Viking games, fishing and forest excursions. Other fun activities include berry and mushroom picking, tennis, boule and beach volleyball, as well as nature playgrounds for younger children. In addition, there is a sauna available for rent to relax in after a day full of outdoor activities.
