Astrid Lindgren’s World is located in Vimmerby, not far from the place where the author herself grew up. Here, you’ll find the settings from Astrid’s beloved stories, carefully constructed and populated with real characters. Visitors can meet Pippi Longstocking, That Emil, Karlsson on the roof and many of the others.
There are picnic areas and restaurants for hungry visitors and a holiday village and campsite in connection to the park, if you decide to stay the night. And that’s not a bad idea, because once you get to Astrid Lindgren’s World you won’t want the stress of having to rush off.
