Steep ascent
The hiking trail has many vantage points, and all of them are perfect places to watch the sunset at Lake Vättern. The cars on the E4 road look like toy cars from afar from Brunstorpsberget, and the traffic noise is only a distant rumble. The trail is yellow-marked in nature but graded as black in terms of difficulty.
At the mountain’s foot lies Brunstorp’s farm, and a living treasure of local northern Småland and southern Östergötland fruit types. The herb garden is lush and has tagged garden plants.
The 3.9 km long trail is a circular one that begins and ends at Brunstorp’s farm. Parking and a summer café are also available.
The breathtaking view from Brunstorpsberget is also an hang gliding take-off area. Don’t forget to take your camera with you!
