Grännaberget

Grännaberget has plenty of beautiful views of Lake Vättern, Visingsö, and Gränna. Grännaberget is a parkland that is close to and above the town, with a 70-meter difference in height. You can walk up to Grännaberget from Bergsvägen, Södra Park, or Fransson’s Polkagrisar. It’s very steep, but there are good walking paths, including some steps. The mountain has an open-air museum, exercise trails which are clearly signposted, lighted tracks, an open-air gym, MTB trails, a summer cafe, barbecue pits, and lavatories. You find meadows, forests, giant trees, and lots of hazel and lime trees. The Holavedsleden and John Bauerleden begin or end here. Åsabäcken empties out into the northeast and is also to be visited.
