Discover the mystical forest's various hiking trails.
If you would like to take a stroll among virtually all of Sweden’s deciduous trees, then Strömsberg is where you should head. The forest consists of several different circular paths, for pedestrians, cyclists, and horseback riders.
East of Jönköping Valley is Strömsberg Nature Reserve, which, with its diverse vegetation and rich wildlife, has plenty to offer. It’s a great place for those who want to view unusual nature, while also listening to the song of Sweden’s smallest bird, the Goldcrest, which is found in the reserve. Slip on your walking boots and discover a true forest gem!
If you’re driving, there are two car parks to choose from, and if you’re traveling by bus, get off at Ljungarum Church and walk through the avenue of trees to Strömsberg’s farm.
