Stensjö Village is a living landscape with a rich biological and cultural heritage.
Stensjö village transports you far back in time to a landscape that has been created by mowing and grazing over the centuries and is still managed, in part, in the traditional way. Sheep, cows and pigs live in the paddocks. Chickens also roam free in the village. The environment is also recognizable from Astrid Lindgren’s films about the Children in the Noise Village, as several scenes are shot directly in the village or on the roads around the village.
