Vattenledningsparken

The Water Supply Area, together with Vattenledningsparken and the sources of Junebäcken, is both a nature reserve and a local outdoor recreation area located in southwest Jönköping. The diverse hiking territory has much to be discovered, including steep slopes, brooks, spring flows, many footpaths, and sheltering spruce forests. In Vattenledningsparken, there are three infiltration ponds and 1865 fountains that distribute water all year round, thanks to the natural pressure of the groundwater. The town center with all its activity is just a step away, yet the Water Supply Area has the feel of being way out in the countryside.
