Krusenstiernska gården

Krusenstiernska Garden is a unique and well‑preserved 19th‑century town garden located next to the old town in Kalmar, just about 200–400 metres from Kalmar Castle. The garden invites visitors to stroll among historic plantings, flower beds and charming buildings in a green oasis in the heart of the city.

Here you’ll find a garden café where you can enjoy coffee, cakes, and juices — often made from fruits and berries grown in the garden itself. Next to the café is a small shop and a museum that tells the story of the garden’s history and life in the 19th century. The garden is perfect for a peaceful fika, a walk through historical surroundings, or as a cozy stop during a tour of Kalmar’s Old Town.
