Just outside Vislanda, in the middle of the Småland landscape, lies Wieselgrensgården – a place with roots in the 19th century. Here, a break from everyday life awaits in a vibrant cultural-historical environment, surrounded by flourishing gardens and sustainable farming.
During the summer and autumn, the flower farm is open for self-picking, where visitors pick their own bouquets directly from the field. The historic farm provides an insight into older varieties and cultivation methods – a way to experience how things were done in the past. The farm shop offers locally produced and recycled goods such as fresh vegetables, eggs, honey and crafts from the region.

Backåkras café is open on the farm and serves homemade coffee and local delicacies in a rural and relaxing environment. For those who want to learn more, courses and workshops are offered in, among other things, sustainable cultivation and flower arranging.

Blomsterträdgården Nyshult is a flourishing oasis just outside Vimmerby, founded in 2022 by florist Lovisa Styrbjörn. With a passion for flowers and sustainable cultivation, she has created a place where creativity and nature meet. It offers a flower studio with seasonal bouquets and flower arrangements, as well as a growing market garden with a shop, orangery and café. Visitors can enjoy the splendor of flowers, participate in workshops and experience events such as Christmas markets with local exhibitors. Nyshult Flower Garden is a place for inspiration, community and love for green.

Borgholms Handelsträdgård is a green oasis dating back to 1923, located on Malmsborgsgatan in Borgholm. Here, tradition and innovation meet in an environment where organic farming and sustainability are at the center. In the historic greenhouses and in the open air, a wide range of plants adapted to Öland’s conditions are grown – from trees and shrubs to perennials, herbs and vegetable plants, many of them KRAV-labeled.
