At Isaberg Mountain Resort there are 12 loops and trails — including mountain biking trails on asphalt or gravel, pumptracks, and a technical course. It’s perfect for anyone who loves cycling. If you’re a beginner, there are courses and you can join a guided tour (1.5–2 hours), with group sizes from 1 to 10 people. During the ride you’ll stop several times to catch your breath, chat and drink water.

At Långehäll, there is an extensive range of trail-cycling routes – everything from easy trails for children and beginners to truly exciting challenges for experienced riders. For those looking for a challenge, there are extra loops connected to the trails with obstacles in the form of drops, jumps, built ramps, banked turns and more. The area also includes a bike park with pumptrack, flow trails and a jump line.

Wimer Bike Park

Right next to the northern part of Vimmerby — near the home of a beloved children’s author — lies Wimer Bike Park. The terrain is, by the region’s standards, quite hilly, so expect slopes both up and down. There are four trails to enjoy, plus a BMX-style warm-up track.

Spånen Trail MTB

Spånenleden in Alvesta — opened in 2017 — is great for those who prefer a more relaxed ride or are beginners. The trail is about 16 km long and starts at Vallaboden (located at the start of the Hanaslöv fitness trail). The trail is a loop and ends where it begins.

Borgen Outdoor (Värnamo)

The outdoor area Borgen has for two years in a row been a national arena for Swedish mountain biking. This area offers marked MTB trails in varied terrain. Borgen is open all year, with free access to a pumptrack, marked MTB-trails, a sprint track with jumps and natural obstacles, plus a 250-meter long kids’ track.

Strömbergshyttan

Between Växjö and Kalmar lies Strömbergshyttan — with relatively hilly terrain, proximity to water, and beautiful views. The area also offers a large network of gravel roads for a more relaxed biking experience.

In Västervik lies Karstorp, offering technical and fast trails designed to challenge and thrill. The forested terrain hides hills, slopes and other fun features. At the trailhead there is also a pumptrack to practice your technique.
