Boda Smide is from the heyday of the Småland glassworks in the 50s and 60s and builds on old smithing and glass traditions in Småland. All forging production takes place today in Virserum in Småland. Through a historic collaboration with recognized Swedish artists and designers, we create unique, beautiful and atmospheric products of iron and glass with a timeless character. Chandeliers, candlesticks and candle lanterns from Boda Smide are made of heavy, sullen iron, hammered with mana power and light, airy glass, blown with the breath. Both redeemed from the same element, fire.
