In Västervik you can paddle in both the lake and the archipelago. There are several trails of varying difficulty and the possibilities are endless. A nice trip that stretches just over 30 kilometers takes you through the lakes out to the sea and the archipelago to Gränsö Udde. After a lift at Ålsjön towards Toven there is a café, perfect for a coffee break. There you can replenish your energy reserves and then continue paddling through Grönvållsfjärden and Hultö where the sea opens up. Most of the islets and skerries are small and only inhabited by seabirds.
